As the festive season begins in Gujarat with the holy month of Shravan, the Gujarat government has announced guidelines for festivals including Rakshabandhan and Ganesotsav

Now the Rakshabandhan Festivities will begin but this year the festivals is not possible due to the Koro crisis.

The State Government Has Also Issued A Guideline For The Festival. In Which How Much Instruction Has Been Given Regarding Ganesh Utsav

Public Events have been banned since the festival. Also, a request has been made by the state government to establish a clay Ganesha and Celebrate it simply. Posters have been put up in public for this 


Raksha Bandhan is a Hindu Festival that celebrates the love and duty between brothers and sisters. The festival is also popularly used to celebrate any brother-sister relationship beetween men and women who are relatives or biologically unrelated. It is called Rakhi Purnima, or simply Rakhi, in many parts of India. The festival is observed by Hindus, Jains, and many Shikhs. Raksha Bandhan is primarily observed in India, Mauritius and parts of Nepal. It is also celebrated by Hindus and Sikhs in part of Pakistan, and by some people of India origin around the world
