A 4.8 magnitude earthquake shook Rajkot and people rushed out of their homes

At 7.40 am, a magnitude 4.8 earthquake shook Rajkot and people rushed out of their homes.  According to the information received, the epicenter of the quake is 22 km south-west of Rajkot.  For the second time in a month, Dhara Dhruji has been reported in Rajkot.

 Earthquakes have been felt in many parts of Saurashtra.  People in Rajkot, Jamnagar and Surendranagar went out of the air.  According to the information received, people's houses have been damaged.
