There is a service coming to India through which users can make calls under WiFi. Currently Airtel has brought good news for its users, where calls can be made without cellular network. According to ET Telecom, Airtel is testing Voice over Wi Fi (VoWo-Fi) voice over, Wi-Fi in various locations in India. Under this, users will be able to make calls even if their phone does not have a cellular network. According to the report, Airtel will launch the service in December next month.
It was reported that Airtel has also confirmed that it is conducting VoWi-Fi trials in several locations and will make it available to everyone soon. According to the Times report, Airtel's VoWi-Fi service is currently available for flagship phones such as the Samsung Galaxy Note 10+.
How to use the VoW-Fi service

To do this, first go to your phone's Call settings menu. This option will get users below 'WiFi calling', which you have to turn on.

Then if your cellular means that the phone network is slow or not, then WiFi calling will be activated. Requires an active Wi-Fi network.

VoWi-Fi Calling works just like WhatsApp, Messenger, FaceTime calls, the difference is that VoWi-Fi will not require any additional applications. Users will find these in-built phones only. There is no extra charge for VoWi-Fi calls.
