1. For Rural Applicants (Banglar Awaas Yojana) If you live in a Gram Panchayat area, you can check your status online immediately. The list is uploaded to the central server.
- Step 1: Visit the PMAY-G (AwaasSoft) reporting portal.
- Step 2: Select “Social Audit Reports” > “Beneficiary Details for Verification”.
- Step 3: Select “West Bengal”, your District, Block, and Village.
- Result: You will see your name and your “Sanction Number” if your house grant is approved.
2. For Urban Applicants (Banglar Bari) If you live in a Municipality, the list is not online to protect privacy.
- Where to Check: You must visit your local Municipality Ward Office or the Borough Office.
- What to Look For: The “Final Approved List 2026” is pasted on the Housing Section Notice Board.
3. Download Application Form (Urban) If your name is on the list, you must submit the physical application form to claim your flat.
- Attachments: Staple your Income Certificate, Voter ID, and Aadhaar Card.
- Submission: Submit to the “Housing Department” at your Municipality.
