 If you have not yet linked your PAN card with Aadhaar, do so today.  You only have 10 days now.  The Income-tax department has set a deadline of March 31, 2021 to link the page to Aadhaar.  Even then, those whose pages are not linked will have to pay a fine of Rs 10,000.  At the same time, their PAN card will be deactivated.

 What is the rule?

●First go to the Income Tax website.

 ●Enter the name, page number and Aadhaar number given in the Aadhaar card.

● Square tick only when the year of birth is mentioned in the Aadhaar card.

● Now enter the captcha code.

● Now click on the Link Aadhaar button.

 ●Just your page will be linked to support.

 How to link PAN to Aadhaar by sending SMS

 For that you have to type on your phone- UIDPAN then type 12 digit base number and then 10 digit page number.  Now send the message mentioned in step 1 to 567678 or 56161.

 How to activate an inactive page

 Let me tell you, an inactive PAN card can be activated.  All you have to do is send an SMS.  For this you have to go to the message box and after entering the 12 digit page number from your registered mobile, give a space and enter the 10 digit Aadhaar number and send an SMS to 567678 or 56161.
