Union Labor Minister Santosh Gangwar said, "I am happy to inform the EPF's 6 crore account holders that the government has credited 8.5 per cent interest to their accounts." People can withdraw this amount from their account. EPFO account holders can also check their PF balance at home. For this they can take the help of SMS, online, missed call and Umang app.
This is how PF balance check can be done using SMS
If your UAN number is registered with EPFO, your PF balance information will be available via message. All you have to do is send EPFOHO UAN ENG to 7738299899. For this you can get the information of PF with the help of message. If you want to get information in Hindi, you can send by writing EPFOHO UAN HIN. The PF Balance service is available in English, Punjabi, Marathi, Hindi, Kannada, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Bengali. PF balance requires that you link it to your UAN, bank account, pen and base. You can also chYeck the balance in your passbook on the EPFO website. A UN number is required to view the passbook.

● Then click on "Click Here to Know your EPF Balance".
● Here you will be redirected to in / epfo /. Now you have to click on the “Member Balance Information” tab.
● Select your state and click on the EPFO Office link.

● You have to click submit. As soon as you click, your PF balance will appear on the screen.
Check PF balance this way using Missed Call
If you can make a missed call to 011-22901406 from a registered mobile number. After this you can know the details of PF with the help of EPFO message. You need to have UAN, PEN and Aadhaar link to check PF balance with Missed Call.
This is how to check balance online
Login to the EPFO website. Now click on e-passbook here. A page passbook.epfindia.gov.in will appear on it. Here you will fill in the username, password, captcha. After filling in these details you will come to another page and select member ID here. Find out your EPF balance on e-passbook here. You can also do this with the help of Umang app. Open the Umang app for it and click on EPFO. Then click on View Passbook. Enter your UAN number and password. OTP will come. By breaking it you can know your balance.
