Supreme Court rules landmark in-laws to get in-laws

The Supreme Court of India today delivered a landmark judgment. The Supreme Court has ruled in favor of Wahu. The country's high court has ruled that under the Domestic Violence Act, a daughter-in-law has the right to live in her husband's parents' house.

A three-judge bench headed by Supreme Court Justice Ashok Bhushan reversed Tarun Batra's decision and answered 6-7 questions. The court said that the wife has the right not only in the separate property of the husband but also in the shared house.
It is to be mentioned that this decision of the country's high court in family matters is considered very important and historic. The ruling will give millions of women a share in the husband's parents' shared property.
