Scheme of financial assistance for marriage to persons with disabilities and persons with disabilities

Social Justice and Empowerment Department Resolution No. UPGAG / 102017/30 / N.B.A./Ch.1, dated 31-8-16 has approved the scheme of monetary assistance for marriage to persons with disabilities and general persons with disabilities.

Under this scheme, provision was made to sanction financial 

assistance of Rs. 30,000 / – just in case of marriage of an individual with disability also as financial assistance of Rs. 20,000 / – just in case of commoner with disability deciding with one another . then the resolution no. the quantity of assistance has been increased to Rs. 50,000 / – from April 10, 2016/40917 / six-1, dated 21-05-2017.

1. Considering things of the handicapped sisters of the state in order that they will accept dignity within the society, it’s referred to as a scheme of monetary assistance for marriage to persons with disabilities and persons with disabilities belonging to every category.
2. the aim of this scheme is to supply phased marriage assistance to the disabled during a timely manner.
   Key Eligibility Criteria for this Scheme:
   The girl should be above 18 years aged and therefore the boy should be over 21 years aged .
   The advantage of this scheme are going to be available just one occasion .
   The standard of assistance.
   Under this scheme, the few marriage assistance couple are going to be eligible for assistance of Rs. 50,000 / – + Rs. 30,000 / – (Rupees fifty thousand in number). Also, just in case a standard man with disability marries one another , an individual with disability are going to be entitled to Rs. 50,000
