The Employees Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) has launched the WhatsApp Helpline Service for immediate resolution of complaints from its subscribers (Grievance Redressal). The Union Ministry of Labor said the facility was different from the EPFO's platform for redressal of grievances received from other channels. EPFO's online grievance redressal portal, CPGRAMS, social media platforms Facebook and Twitter and 24-hour working call center solves the problem of subscribers.

According to the Ministry of Labor, EPFO has launched a WhatsApp-based helpline and grievance redressal system to make the lives of its members easier. The purpose of this measure is to ensure that services are delivered to the appointees without any interruption during Covid-19. With this initiative, PF shareholders can communicate directly with the EPFO's regional offices on an individual level. WhatsApp helpline services have now been launched in all 138 EPFO regional offices. Any concerned party can complain about EPFO related services through WhatsApp message to the helpline number of the regional office related to their PF account.
