From February 1, this smartphone does not support .whatsapp

Beginning February 1, 2020, whatsapp support will be discontinued in some smartphones. The reason is that the company is constantly updating new features which are not eligible for this phone support. If you also have such a smartphone and want to continue using whatsapp then you have to change the phone.
You currently need to be running Android 4.0.3 and above to continue using Whatsapp. If you are using an iPhone then you must have version 9 above. Speaking of KaiOS, if your phone does not have KaiOS version 2.5.1 above then you cannot run whatsapp.
As of February 1, 2020, whatsapp will not be supported on smartphones running Android 2.3.7 or older. Whatsapp support will not be available in iOS 8 or below.

The company has already discontinued whatsapp support for Windows smartphones. Earlier, the company also discontinued support with the Symbian S60, Nokia Series 40 and Blackberry OS.
Whatsapp said in its statement that the decision was a lot of trouble, but has been done to give people a better experience.
